Awesome. I was hooked from start to finish, Rockwell is incredible in this.

Not bad, great last 20 minutes.

Reminded me of The Descent. Nice, grim ending.

Mega Shark v Giant Octopus
I'd heard so many "cheesy as feck" reviews I just had to for a laugh. The acting from the three leads is surprisingly good, but the script is terrible and the effects....oh dear god on earth I thought those clips of the never-released F4 movie were bad!!!

Watch the original man, way better!
Get Carter (remake)
Probably the worst remake I've ever seen. Its not how bad the movie is as much as its how wrong they got the idea behind Get Carter. The dialogue is also atrocious and the performances are some of the worst I've ever seen.

Fifty Dead Men Walking- very good film, it didnt fall into the trap of making the IRA a romantic freedom fighting group it showed them as cruel and willing to do anything and showed special branch the same way. I recomend it

Re: Film's you've seen today
Almost forgot - last week...Man on Wire
A fantastic documentary film, about a once in a lifetime (especially now!) event - the logistics, the planning, it could all have been tedious, but you really get to feel the excitement and fascination of the event, the very real fear that something could go wrong, they could get caught. A fantastic piece of cinema
And today:
Jurassic Park
A reminder of when Hollywod could make spectacular films without 300-cuts-a-second action scenes, comic relief (except for the "man on toilet" scene, natch) and one from Will Smith, Tom Cruise or Shia LeBloodyBouef playing a fairly generic leading man. And a damn good reminder too.

Yeah I enjoyed it too. Was surprised that Rose McGowen's Irish accent wasn't that bad, and very surprised that the best friend character was actually Canadian!

It doesnt matter how many times you mention this film and classic in the same breath, no one agrees......apart from JK but you pushed him away and now you wander this world alone muttering Breakfast Club over and over again

1. Widely held as a great film for both the genre and era.
2. Not only JK agrees - have been discussing with others via facebook and at work.
3. I watched in tribute to the guy who wrote the film - I'm allowed to do that, aren't I?
4. Trust me, many discussions in this regard with the guy...it wasn't me that led to JK leaving. Chat to him frequently, actually.
5. Each to their own

Man I forgot just how unbelievably brilliant this movie is! Bob Hoskins best ever performance, great story and one of the best endings to a movie ever.

Interview With The Vampire
Good film, remained faithful to the book (most probably due to Anne Rice co-writing the screenplay).
Queen Of The Damned
I don't mind this film if I watch it as a stand alone film, rather than the sequel that it's supposed to be. It could have been so much better done if the studio hadn't sat on their arses for so long & realised their rights to The Vampire Lestat & Queen Of The Damned were nearly up and rushed this out.

When the account was deleted I lost his exact PM'd comments the same way the posts went, but it was primarily that he felt he was spending too much time on here and he wasn't enjoying himself enough to justify it.
There were a few more details, but I don't really want to go into them. If he ever wantsd to discuss the with anyone then that's his call.
but anyway
Crank
Love this - one 90 minutes pop video, just so insanely idiotic and yet so much better than most of the high-budget attempts at actio blockbusters these days.
