    Alien Vs Predator Requiem
Just a word of advice for all involved in the franchise. Next time (should there really be a next time) could you spare a small amount of cash on some lighting? This movie was so dark I found it hard to follow what was going on.

    The Box
The first 30-40 mins were intriguing, after which the film descended into utter drivel.

    Movie looks hilarious.

What can I say, you win some, you lose some.

Anyways, I've watched Hot Tub Time Machine yesterday. One of the reviews on a commercial I saw was spot on accurate, "It was so stupid it was funny." Intentionally stupid I might add!

    Kick Ass

About as good as a movie can possibly be. As soon as it was over I wanted to buy another ticket and sit down and watch all over again. There were few changes from the book, some I liked, some I wasnt crazy about, but I have no real complaints at all. Chloe Moretz steals the show, not just cause she kicks the shite out of everyone, but because she's actually convincing when she does it!

I was exactly the same! I loved the bit in the corridor towards the end when she's offing all the gangsters.

I was suprised by how many of the gangsters were brits I spotted counting Mark Strong four brits!

The director Mathew Vaughn is a Brit, and he was the producer of most of Guy Ritchies movies prior to beginning his directing career, hence the British presence. I even spotted Tamer Hassan from Football factory as one of the corridor goons!

Yeah. This film actually made me go and get the original again on DVD on principle. It's like a cover version of a song...why do a "by the book" remake? This had the potential to offer so much more given the developments in effects and size of budget, but it just took the main scenes of the original, threw in a scorpion fight from the "Mummy" school of film battles, stuck tentacles on a Broderick Godzilla prop, and assumed no-one would want more. This should have been a 2-3 hour spectacular with more stops on the journey, even the "lord of the swamps" angle could have been included

    Kick-Ass

Awesome! This is now one of my favorite movies of all time. Shocked Yeah, I said it, lol.

It was funny, and the action sequences were excellent.

Shock value was just the cherry on the sundae on this one.

My only complaint is the low box office sales here in the U.S.
