    Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans

Was average. Didn't really learn anything that wasn't already told in the flashbacks from the first film.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford-Shite Shite Shitty Shitty Shite. I've tried watching it twice now and have turned it off twice before it was finished, it just proves Jonathan Ross is a friend of the stars when he gave this a good review it just dragged and dragged. Has anyone watched all of it?

I liked it, but I agree that it did drag and was really, really long. I will say that Pitt and Affleck were really good in it, though. Affleck was on fire last year.

Same as me. I think its a good film, but the length and style would suggest that the film should be better than it really is.

Even the guy doing the narrative for the film just drones on and on in his flat emotionless voice 19 thumbs down from me.

thirteen- pretty good actually. Its about a 13 year old girl going off the rails and the effect it has on her family.

I thought it was good as well but if I was nit picking, which I am, it would have been nice if the cast had decided what accent they were going to use and stuck to it there were German accents, English accents and Tom Cruise with his American accent

I know what you mean, accents can be tricky, if your not going to do one I really think you should stick to that. The cast were great but I was a little bit suprised that they didn't use more English speaking Germans, rather than a lot of brits.

If your gonna go that far, why not having german actors speaking german.

I would just have been happy if they all sat down and said "look we cant all get the accent down so we dont we all speak plain English?"

Been watching a lot of movies lately, have had a few days off here.

Rachel Getting Married - More goodness. Really enjoyed it, I love the camera-work, which I know some might (shaky, hand-held stuff). Hathaway was brilliant, too bad Bride Wars might end up costing her an Oscar ala Eddie Murphy for Dreamgirls. She was fantastic.

    Hell comes to Frogtown

    As bad as it sounds.

    The Life of David Gale

Good, but the film should have bben much much better. It gets confused as to whether its a biopic, a political film of a thriller and it hurts the movie. Still good though.

    Maltese Falcon

Classic. What can I say that hasn't already been said?

An enjoyable film. Have seen worse video game movies.

    Sin City
One of my all time favourites, I never tire of this film. Roll on the sequel.

It's never going down in history as an all time classic, but it's definitely a good film.

Friday the 13th (2009) - Not as terrible as I imagined, but not very good either. Your basic horror movie that has come out in the past few years; lots of blood, lots of boobies.

Watching Rent again - think it's a really underrated movie musical. Rosario Dawson actually covers for the original Mimi quite well, and Idina Menzel and Adam Pascal particularly should be so much more successful than they are.

(although Pascal does hurt his cause by going back to doing the show alongside Anthony Rapp every couple of years now. Try something new, man!)

Plus I might be auditioning for a local production next month so I've fished out the CD and DVD to get ready.

Just wish I was still thin enough to play Mark or Roger. Oh well, Collins it is.
