Can Kozlov hurry up and lose and fuck off.The only good thing about him is the Zidane style headbutt which should be his finisher instead of that lame reverse DDT.

I've missed Smackdown for a while now, so 2 questuons:
1. Is Kung Fu Naki as bad as it sounds?
2. Why waste the wrestlemania X7 rematch of Taker v Trips on regular TV?

1. It's not unbearable, though MVP jobbing to him wasn't great to watch.
2. I wondered that. It's not like it was heavily advertised. I guess they want solid ratings for their early work with the new network.

It was a waste of a match in the sense that it had 'No contest' written all over it. It's a shame they cannot actually see a decent match through to a conclusion without having one of the participants in the feud running out and crapping all over it.
Pointless.

Now it all becomes clear regarding Kozlov.
The Undertaker puts him over next week on Smackdown and Kozlov goes on to Survivor Series to get beat down by HHH.
Pathetic.
I agree with JR that Kozlove would be much improved with a 'main event-level' manager to do his talking.

decent enough show tonight
totally harmless, but nothing to write home about, and little of note, other than the most dodgy looking cage to speak of

Yeah, the cage was constructed rather than lowered down.
I think you find there was something to write home about, Dolph Zigler is challenging MVP at the next episode of Raw for the IC title?!
They record another match for Superstars (Hornswaggle and Finley V Tyson Kidd and Miss(?) Neidhart) as well. I'm pretty sure they didn't change the ropes after Raw, keep an eye on the ropes when they start airing the show, they should go red, blue, red!

Ziggler thing made no sense, he has been burried (he did beat MVP recently though iirc?) yet is now the number 1 contender for the Raw midcard title, despite the fact he was now drafted to Smackdown?
I will post a few thoughts in a bit
fairly hot crowd, that tended to actually give a fuck about everything

It was dead up in the nose bleed section. Apart from a fat bastard who stood up and did a 30 second long boo after Orton drove HHH in to the cage.

Its one of the best non PPV matches Ive seen in a while Pete...Morrison ends up looking like a million bucks.
Smackdown is THE show to watch. Jericho, Rey, Jeff, Edge, Morrison, Punk all on the same show, hell even Dolph Ziggler's gettin a push. I hate watching Raw these days...comparing the shows is like night and day.

Smackdown is absolutely brilliant right now. I hope Morrison vs. Edge becomes a long feud with Morrison getting a nice rub from Edge. I have a feeling that he could dethrone Jericho of the IC belt come Summerslam, it would make for a great feud.
And if rumors are true, I hope Punk does turn heel, it's an interesting dilemma for WWE. By dilemma, I mean, do you wanna turn your guaranteed drug-free wrestler, a guy to build your PG company around, completely heel? This is going to make the next few months really interesting for the Punk and World Heavyweight title picture.

I caught the Edge vs Morrison match and it was pretty awesome.
I love the kick Morrison gives Edge after he bounces off the ropes halfway through the match.
Good finish as well and Edge selling like it was an epic is very good too. Really showed Morrison to be a legit player in the main event scene and I have high hopes for the year as far as Smackdown goes. If we end up having a Punk vs Morrison feud at all as its main event, then we are in safe hands.
We know what those guys can do and with the chance to main event, we could be in for a right treat.
