Re: Transfer Window
One of two things - either loan to get him games and put him on the market or loan to get his confidence back up.

Re: Transfer Window
So here's our situation. We've gone from definately getting in a couple of expensive loan signings, to maybe signing a couple of guys for £4M a pop to guys that don't wanna come...
Credit to JFK for taking the Newcastle job when no-one else would & we're in a better position now than when he took over, but the man just seems at times to want to open his mouth & let his stomach rumble. He says that Racing Enthusiast Michael Owen was looking good about signing an extention 24 hours before he says he wants out. He then says His Imperial Shayness is happy & going nowhere just before Shay announces he wants out. Can't blame him tbh, I've been supporting them since I was 5 & I wanna leave the bastards at times.
We have this unique nack of managing to put our fingers through the toilet paper more times than I'd care to count. It's a fucking joke.

Re: Transfer Window
Well dependent on your sources Arshavin has either signed, is 50/50, is definately staying at Zenit, is going to Man City or is on the surface of the moon.

I heard he was in the WH Smith at Scotch Corner Service Station buying a packet of Rollos and an Agatha Christie audiobook.
No details on whether it was a Miss Marple or a Hercule Poirot book though.

Re: Transfer Window
City have signed Nigel De Jong, good little player but i hear he had a clause in his contract that would let him leave for £1.4 million in the summer so why not wait?
I know they are billionaires but fucking hell a £12.6 million difference is still quite a bit

They've practically told everyone in this window that they don't care about money, name a price and we will match it, not matter how ridiculous it is. At least with Abramovich, Chelsea would negotiate.IOV wrote:City have signed Nigel De Jong, good little player but i hear he had a clause in his contract that would let him leave for £1.4 million in the summer so why not wait?

As an agent said on sky sports news, there are two transfer markets, one for Man City and one for everyone else.
Regarding De Jong, he's a player I would always buy on PES so he's got to be pretty decent!

Re: Transfer Window
Ruddock
Hazard
Sheringham
Redknapp
Mido
Defoe
Well, Chimbo makes it 4-3 in favour of lame-ass re-signings...
Talk about a six month signing and sold again in the summer. I can't believe he thinks he won't lose his spot to Hutton again when he's fit.
Now Cudicini - That's a decent signing.
edit: Forgot Klinsmann. That makes a more respectable 4-4

Surprised it's taken him this long to move tbh. Make sure you've got plenty of oil to deal with the rust

Am I the only one thinking how crazy it is that Bolton and Newcastle are battling it out for Miguel Veloso?
The guy was linked with every top team in Europe at the start of the seson and now he could end up being tutored by Joe Fucking Kinnear or sharing a room with Kevin Davies!

Re: Transfer Window
Spurs are a fucking joke they'll be enquiring after Berbatov, Klinsman and Jason Dozzel at this rate!
Keanes a quality player though and proved it every where he has been I put his bad patch at the minute down to Rafas terrible man management, its right up there with Redknapps handling of Darren Bent

Klinsman will probably become their manager in October when the latest Messiah of WHL is sacked.

Re: Transfer Window
The way every club Keane has played for treats him saddens me (including Leeds), he is a great player and teams never seem to give a chance to establish him self as a main striker.

Nope and I don't think he was being sarcastic as he would of used the trademark wink emoticon. If he was being sarcastic, it's always been a hard thing to convey on the internet and I wouldn't be the first person to ever miss internet sarcasm.Kun wrote:ShowStealer wrote:How fucking stupid are you?JK wrote:10 pts? I thought that since I would have been living under a rock on Mars with my fingers in my ears and my eyes shut to not know why Given had chosen Man City I could get away with not using an emoticon.
And even if I wasn't clear what about that justifies the prickishness of your response?
