One of the greatest of all time?
    Great on the mic?
    Charismatic?
    Great matches?

Well that does sound boring. A haircut and music would definitely sort that shit out.

I thought the haircut and music would be sufficient. The haircut on it's own would be money.

My vote for his new music would be for something contemporary. I'd go for Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis or Chasing Pavements by Adelle or anything by Kate Nash.

I think something with a lot of whistling in it would be more appropriate. Miniature Birds by grand Archives would be perfect.

Also he should wear an over sized top hat. Nothing says attitude like over sized shit. it shows that you don't give a fuck about the right sized shit!!!!

my overall views of HBK was very good midcard heel at first, loved all the cocky shít, and using the superkick as the finisher etc etc

I grew tired of him VERY quickly after the face turn however

When he turned heel in 1997 it proved that he was a far far far better heel than face.

Initially I had no time for the comeback, mainly because it was just Shawn vs HHH non stop forever, and it happened during WWEs ultimate time of suckage.

Although (from around the point when he changed his attire) that I really started warming to him again, the subtle change on tv from a main roster guy that never wrestled to a part time legend who never wrestled worked wonders, granted there was quite a few decent matches in this time, but I couldn't stand his style in this period

To be perfectly honest, now it has got to a point where (house shows or not) it is shocking that he hasn't won the world title, it is SIX years since he last had the title, that being in his second match back (bar any random match on Raw I assume he lost the title in his third match back at Armaggedon) and that is WAY WAY too long for someone who has been in his position, and (granted the booking always goes a long way- see the Undertaker) but he has just been BRINGING it in the ring for the last two years

    change?

The problem with HBK is that he has been the same for years. Its just not changed. I mean, saying to turn him heel is all very well, but its not that easy because he's so over.

Did Shawn Michaels not say once that he wouldn't turn heel because of his religious beliefs?

I don't understand why he hasn't held the title for 6 years.

Considering how awesome he has been in the last 18 months, it wouldn't kill them to give him the belt for a month or two. Glad Jericho retained though, easily the best champion in the last 3 years.

Exactly. I see the point about not needing it but that's really not the point. They fast tracked Cena to the title and then kept it on him for a year when he didn't need it and it did the brand, and Cena, more harm than good.

A short run wouldn't harm HBK or any of the others on the roster because he, along with Jericho, are the best workers on RAW.

HHH needs it because he has a character in which centers around holding the world title.

No. HHH explicitly mentions in most of his non champion promos that he wants to be champion again. That he lives and breathes being world champion. That he'd kill his own Grandmother to be champion. Am I getting the point across here?

HBK's character does not have this same lust for the world title, his is more like he wants to compete, do as well as he can and please the fans.

Shawn needs to go back to tag team wrestling. It'd give the division a boost particularly with a slightly tweaked gimmick.

The Heartbreak Kid (as well as being a mediocre Ben Stiller film) is past its prime. What is needed is a gimmick more with it and hip for the kids watching while still being true to the subject so I think Shawn should be made into a cardigan and open fingered mitten wearing pervert who wrestles around his usual job of rag and bone-man. A blatant rip-off of Steptoe and Son (or Sanford and Son for all you colonial cousins) is what's needed including the theme tune. They can keep the pyros and crotch chops if they must.

The only question is who should be the younger member of Michaels and Son? Sean Waltman would be perfect in my opinion.

    You dirty old man.
