Premiership Predictions game

This was a great game a few years running & seeing as how I'm the defending champion this year (on the basis I was leading before the crash), thought I'd get the ball rolling.

If anyone else wants to run it, feel free to shout, but lets at least get some peeps signed up & then we can see about a scoring system.

I suggest we leave signups open for a week or two, to give word a chance to spread.

Is this still going ahead?

I'd be up for predicting, but don't want to run the game anymore.

I know Shaun was previously interested in running this, so perhaps if he still wants to have a go, I could let him have it on a season long loan?

We could start predicting after the upcoming international break.

Still fancy doing this. Doesn't seem to be enthusiasm on it though.

I can confirm BOD was leading the standings before the old forum crashed. He had 531 points, which was one ahead of Fernzy.

I don't have the rules saved anywhere, anymore.

But, I can remember that you received five points if a got a prediction spot-on, two points if you predicted the right team to win & ten bonus points if you got three or more predictions spot-on in one weekend's round of fixtures.

I think that was basically it.

Yeah, get rid of that 10 point bonus, made a mockery of the scoring system.

Scoring:

Example Game: Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea

Let's say Rooq predicts Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea and that is how the game turns out. Rooq receives for that game 5 Smashing points.

If Rooq predicts Man Utd 1-0 Chelsea and Man Utd win 2-1, he gets 2 Points because he predicted a Man Utd win

If Rooq fails to predict the game correctly or doesn't predict at all, he gets 0 Points.

The same rule applies for a draw.

Bonus points

Rooq is on a role this time and he gets 5 Games spot on, he receives an extra ass whooping 10 points! That's 35 points in total for 5 games!

Should Rooq predict every game spot on in a Game week, he has the right to disable ONE Person from predicting the next Game week. Muhahaha! It's near to impossible but it can hit anyone!

If rooq gets every game spot on he should leave the forum and start predicting football matches at the bookies.

Getting every single one correct would be at least 1 million/1 I reckon.
