WWE sign Nigel McGuinness

Post  Shaun2J on Fri Sep 04, 2009 3:53 pm

Ring of Honor issued a press release to announce that Nigel McGuinness has agreed in principle to a contract with WWE. "Nigel has been a tremendous leader in the Ring of Honor locker room and, without question, a wonderful performer," reads the press release.

"His merits, both in and out of the ring, are extraordinary and any locker room with Nigel McGuinness in it is better for it. We couldn’t be happier for Nigel as he takes the next step in his stellar wrestling career, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Nigel for all he’s worked for and through." Whoa, first Danielson and then McGuinness!

It has probably all ready happened, but would it be possible to see Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuiness?

Nah I'm sure they'll get an hour and they'll get to work the sort of style they work on the indies. And I think that because history has taught me nothing.
