Jericho's first WWF Title win

Post  KJ on Tue Oct 28, 2008 4:09 pm

Was it a legit screw-job or merely good acting on the part of HHH?

Do you mean the one that was reversed on the same night?

Actually, I don't know why I'm clarifying - the only legit screwjobs in modern WWE times are Wendi Richter and Bret Hart AFAIK.

they were just MONSTROUSLY stupid to have not even given him a title reign until the next PPV

almost equally as stupid as their balls up of RVD

The one where Hebner fast counts and HHH goes mental afterwards.

It was part of the storyline where HHH was treating Hebner like shit and everyone else for that matter so Hebner screwed him with the fast count but it was reversed by Vince IIRC

This wasn't part of the wrestling storylines or anything like that. This was real as real can be. I don't quite know how to put this, but this was not a wrestling angle. That wasn't part of the entertainment they had planned for us that night.

Once again folks, this was not a wrestling angle. This was as real as real can be.
