What Game Are You Playing?

Post  next_big_thing on Wed Sep 17, 2008 7:15 pm

Think we had something like this in the past, get it started again.

Anyways, I've just got G1 Jockey for the Wii, I'm using that console most at the moment and getting a few interesting games. Quite hard to master at the moment but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.

Onto you guys.

next month, I think

Still playing myself. currently one point clear with 3 games left, only went out of the CL on away goals to Real Madrid (6-6!) due to either a. throwing away a 4-1 lead at home to win 4-3 or b. Robinson being a putz and kicking straight to Raul for their winning goal in the away leg.

Fifa 08, Bomberman Live and Guitar Hero 2/3. Currently considering whether to purchase Rock Band 1/2 or Guitar Hero World Tour.

I was rocking Rock Band pretty hard until two things happened:

My guitar broke and then my Xbox broke. And since I'm broke I cant get either fixed!

What happened to your xbox? Mine broke last week with the three red lights and they fixed it for free. A week turnaround, so not bad at all.

Bought Top Spin 3 today, seems to have a pretty steep learning curve. Still enjoying FM08 and Halo 3 on live.

I'm one of the very few people who never got the red ring. Instead the xbox refuses to read any disc I put in. I got the machine when the 360 first came out so my warranty is well expired.

I got myself busy with Spore and am currently trying to work my way through Star Wars: Force Unleashed.

Good time for games and I gotta bust really spread out the old student loan if I want them all.

me to Embarassed

really waiting on RA3 now - the cast for the cutscenes looks fantastic (Frank N. Furter, Sulu, T-Bag...plus Jenny McCarthy (still would have preferred Kari Wuhrer again, but works for me!)) and always preferred something about the ridiculous plausibility and sense of humour these had over the darker C+Cs

I just completed Blue Dragon after leveling all my characters up to the max level. The final boss was entirely easy because of my grinding but meh. I'm looking forward to the DS and sequel entries.

I'm getting back into Mass Effect again. I've also been alternating Stranglehold, Saint's Row, and Gears of War. I also just picked up Condemned.

How is Spore? I'm probably getting it for my brother for Christmas, but I'm definitely interested. I dropped the ten dollars on the creature creator, which seems kind of stupid now since it keeps wiping my saved creatures from the sporepedia.

We still have to wait until 10th October for that, and I already have Fable 2 and my PS3 with LittleBigPlanet to get then. Christmas release rush before it's even Christmas. Back on topic, I've been playing Pure which I went and picked up at lunchtime. Been so long since I have been swayed to buy a title by a demo, but Pure is just amazing. Online is a breeze, no lag, tons of players and completely fun. Buy it.

What did you think of lego Indy?

My graphics card was frine for everything BUT the minecart level, meaning I could get every artefact but that one. really annoying. Overall, it was a pretty good game, a few bugs which caught you in constant falls in places, and the AI was sometimes dumber than a gooner, but was spot on with the scenes and the implanting of tongue in cheek

Gears of War fuckin rocks. One of the most replayable games ever. Its just a completely awesome action movie on game platform.

I await my purchases!

It was fun at first but then when it gets into civilization mode it was a huge turn off for me. If your into RTS then go for it because Im sure its a bucket of fun but not for me. Even my brother who likes certain RTS's has gotten bored of it.

Creating stuff is fun though Laughing
