Same here. Great game, but I'm slightly disappointed in the acting - it's nowhere near hammy enough!

Ill give it a nine. My only real complaint thus far is that you have to go out of your way to find a lot of the side quests.

Well Tim Curry has a certain amount of ham & cheese in his performance, but have you played the allied campaign yet? "Giles" eats up even the CG scenery (was just as unsubtle on the Soviet campaign, but in smaller measure), and sweet Biddy Baxter if Gemma Hugetits can't manage a Queen's English accent, which she is clearly trying to do at times, then please dear GOD let her speak normaly!!! Her half posh/half regional accent is driving me batty!

Best line so far has to be the totally innocent delivery of the major venue for the soviet invasion target. Totally sincere, totally : "Brighton Beach"

Only disapointment so far is the shorter campaigns - obviously to allow for the third faction's campaign. It is a pity as I really felt I was getting into the soviet campaign and suddenly it was over

Sounds like Oblivion. Some of the quests were in such obscure places!

Yeah but with Oblivion you could get about 100 sidequests in the main cities alone. There are only about 20 sidequests in Fallout and they are difficult to come across.

Skorge is cool for sure, but I think prefer the Raam fight.

Finally got round to playing Fallout 3. Love it so far.

Also Malcom McDowell's voice is enough to make anyone mark out. He's so deliciously evil...

I thought Skorge was way too easy. RAAM was a cunt to beat, at least on hardcore/insane.

Agreed... the final boss is far too easy also. I consider the Hydra the hardest boss in the game.

After playing for about 3 hours I was thinking the first act was ridiculously long but they don't have the obvious act changes like in the previous game. I ended up getting to Act 2, ch. 6 with a buddy on hardcore.

Anyone get football Manager? Fuckin SI really dropped the ball on this one. Most people have had the game all day without being able to play it. I jot got home at 5 and I'm still having no luck with it.

What problem are you having with it? I know the latest Socom game had problems right out of the box where people couldn't play it online and had to wait for it to be patched.

I tried out the Horde co-op game today - once you get bored of completing the story mode or getting the achievements it's a nice change.

The online authentification servers have been down all day. Very few have been able to get past the key reg screen.

Not to spoil anything for anyone else, but did you find the scene with Tai really messed up? Story is usually an afterthought in the game, but that scene stuck with me.

Right now I'm playing a few games. Gears of War, right now trying to beat it on hardcore on my system. I beat it on my friend's on insane but didn't have Live then. I picked up Kameo: Elements of Power for $10 new on Newegg.com and I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would. I wasn't fond of Perfect Dark: Zero, but this is fairly simple and enjoyable. The aiming system however is a tad on the sporadic, kind of hoped for an auto-targeting system. Lastly Fallout 3, I have a good, neutral, and evil character that I'm playing as.

Somewhat, considering what he went through. I found what happens to Maria a lot more disturbing.

If I spanked out around £35 for a game and finished it the same day, I would not be best pleased!

Rule of thumb: If you buy a popular game that requires online authentication you can guarantee you won't be able to play it on day one.

Football Manager sells about a billion copies the moment the shops open. Unless you go and buy it from a 24 hour Tesco at midnight of course the servers are gonna be down.

Mine's still sitting in its box. I've got enough games sucking up my life atm Razz
