I think The Fonz would also win most broken down member of 2009!

So because he didn't find any of your links to be interesting, you've referred to him as a 'twat' 3 times?

In regards to your earlier response to me, I think that too was an overreaction. I was merely stating how it wasn't much effort to check the directory of your own site and then make a post with links to aforementioned directories.

MK erroneously believed this was a lot of effort for you; I was simply correcting that.

    Pretty much.

The Stig wrote:In regards to your earlier response to me, I think that too was an overreaction. I was merely stating how it wasn't much effort to check the directory of your own site and then make a post with links to aforementioned directories.

Well actually it was an effort as I had to fire up the FTP program and see what the directories were. Then I could have just deleted them and said nothing and nobody would have been any wiser about it.

I was actually posting more for the sake of the peeps that put the effort into the stuff in the first place - Mtank and MTW to name the two that spring to mind. Silly me for thinking that, y'know, someone might actually notice the work THEY put in. Hell, why would anyone do that when it's much easier to just be a dick and try and score points off it. And peeps wonder why I don't post here that much any more...

Silly me for thinking someone might actually like to read some of the old school Smash history. Pah!

    CasINNO

"Before Inno ever ran a forum, Tony Cottam was a hell of a Moderator, I can tell you that. He was so good, that whenever someone posted, he could change the subject for every member on the forum. I'm serious, he had it down so cold, that he was given paradise on earth. He was given one of the biggest forums on the Internet to run, Smash Wrestling... by the only kind of guy that could actually get that kind of forum. I don't know all the details...

... Matter of fact, nobody knew all the details. But it should have been perfect. I mean he had Fonz, his best friend, watching his ass, and he had Mrs Inno, the woman he loved on his arm.

But in the end,... they fucked it all up. It should have been so sweet too. But it turned out to be the last time that street guys like them were ever given anything that fucking valuable again."

Inno has done a hell of a lot more for Smash in the last 8 years or so than anyone currently here will probably ever do. I seriously doubt he would bother posting any other good stuff after the reaction here. We actually had a Smash History type thing planned between us which would have been cool but that has probably been scuppered now thanks to the Stig's amazing wit. Rolling Eyes

In fairness, my post wasn't only being directed at you, despite the quotation at the start making it seem so.

You do have a habit of winding people up though. That's not always a bad thing on a forum but it can get a little tiresome when it seems to be pretty much constant sarcasm.

You started your post with "Stig" and ended it with 'Stig's amazing wit', then blamed me for the end of Smash expanding... No

I don't wind people up on purpose, they just seem to get offended by my posts. I can't help it if I'm a sarcastic person. I have noticed there's an increased amount of activity whenever I post however, so it can't be all bad. And this is the Asylum - anything goes. boxer
