It was sarcasm, something you are very familiar with Stig. Implying the joke isnt very original. The cigarette thing was funny 2 months ago, now its old

Unlikely. Banzai made a joke about wanking in front of his cat and that kept going for years... escalating into beastiality as it did.

Oh god that's right....and for some reason, I'm remembering something being said by Smoke Daddy that kept getting brought up. And come to think of it, I think Warriorfan had the same problem. Can't be bothered to think of what those things were, though...

Smoke Daddy was the gayness of his name and Warriorfan was the mustache.

I remember so much useless crap.

Nope. As JK said, people kept on at Banzai for several years, Smoke Daddy's 'gay' name was a recurring subject for quite a lengthy time and Warriorfan's moustache caused him ridicule for a while. There's also the one about MK gaining a driving licence despite reversing into a lamp post (or similar) which gained notoriety for about a year. Now, while you (Ayatollah) may not be as popular as these people, it is still something that we here at Smash can mock in a number of scenarios - two key ones being my post in the Expert 11 thread, and ShowStealer's post in this thread.

In conclusion, we haven't even begun yet. Twisted Evil

Just to maybe deflect some of the crap, I wasn't looking for "BOW DOWN TO INNO!!!" posts - I genuinely thought that peeps would like to see the old SmashNews and Interviews along with the current Hall of Fame.

I'd forgotten they were even on my site until I was looking through it one afternoon.

As for effort? Yup, the news was MTank and the interviews were MTW, and the HOF was voted for by all of the smash peeps, I never claimed otherwise... and I don't know where that argument came from anyway. I will in my defence say this - who do you think coded the pages with the backgrounds, images and formatting and the links and uploaded them in the first place? That was my only part in it.

Wondering where the "drinking boys" comment came into things other than trying to score points, but hey that's a smashism so I guess that's allowed Wink

Oh and last time I spoke to Groov about Smash he said that the old forums were either totally gone or nigh on impossible to recover.
