Taliban in control of Swat Valley

That war in Afganistan we didn't finish... just got a whole lot worse.

So what now? Do we invade that bit of Pakistan now to try and restore the old regime? The Taliban won't stop until they control the whole country.

If only America and Britain hadn't been so eager to jet off to Iraq to look for weapons of mass disappearance the Taliban might have been stopped.

Well we're going to attempt a similar surge in Afghanistan (the one in Iraq worked very well). I feel we'll be well off there in a few years (and I'm taking a little year long trip there soon)
