City just about through as i write this, Spurs as well but Everton went out!

Not really that surprising when you think of how poor Everton have been so far this season and how good Liege played against Liverpool.

Portsmouth just kicked off there and realistically they are through as well

Dortmund took Udinese to penalties which we unfortunatly lost but it doesn't really bother me. This season looks promising anyway with Jürgen Klopp as coach.
Just surprised they won 2-0 in the end and overturned the disaster from two weeks ago at Home.

He seems to be going from sublime to ridiculous at the moment - he either makes fantastic saves (like the one from the lob last night) or fantastic cock-ups (like the first goal)

He's never been the choice of myself or a number of others - we all wanted Jol to stay. Commoli is the issue - feckin' gooner

That said, brace yourself for Ginola...

Poor Pompy they were so close!!!

Kanu, Johnson, Belhadj and Traore were immense there tonight and Milan looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but Fratton park but when you are up against the quality these guys have you've gotta be on your toes till the end

I think there were 2 other English teams playing........they mighta won or something

Methinks Redknapp wasn't taking NEC seriously as a threat - Gunter was forced by Hutton's injury, but he also picked O'Hara, Bale, Campbell, Bostock, Obika, Mason and Smith

As Pompey would admit now, though, maybe it was close but a win's a win
