Blimey I thought Charlton would get out of the relegation trouble and be all ok! isnt looking so good now, but still time! couple of wins and they looking ok again! but need to win one soon! fingers crossed though as there are worser much worser teams than Charlton in the league.

Ipswich again the weekend where very very dull, and looking to sign Kuqi again... great!

If we had a decent manager we could survive easier, but instead we have a board who are trying to sell and are cutting costs. I'm not to sure how much interest there will be in a league 1 club but there you go. We lost on Saturday due to 2 defensive mistakes. Having some many loanees in a team is going to lead to errors. Every decent team has always had a nucleus of players, how can a team play together when there are so many changes? And what affect does it have on the players with contracts at the club who can't get in to the first team because of the loanees?

    Hopefully Southend will stay up.

Not sure mate, I missed the Wolves game this season as I was in Copenhagen. Speaking of Wolves, I have no idea why Sylain Ebakes-Blake hasn't caught the attention of a premiership side, the guy single handily beat us last season and has been banging them in again this season. For me, he's the best player in the championship.

Brian Gunn has been announced as the new manager of Nar-Which, he already has a better record than Parkinson after one game! Laughing

I see they've bitten the bullet and decided to appoint him after one game, although the decision was made easier due to them not being loaded and able to afford an external appointment. Sadly I can now see Norwich shooting up the table now, as long as he doesn't get fired. Wink

Havent heard of the dude from wolves! maybe he was a bit part player at the club as he doesnt ring any bells and havent seen him in tv when i watch championship highlights.

Hmmmm as Long as Norwich dont beat us again this year i dont care what they do to be honest! lol... well, as long as they dont finish ahead of us!!

Brian Gunn... always remeber him for that goal we scored against norwich! ha ha, comedy gold!....

I remember Rosa vaguely from Hearts vs Ferencvaros a few years back but dont remember if he was any good. Szabo Laslo wanted him at Hearts...he was his former manager at Ferencvaros. We have him on trial alongwith Austrian rightback Markus Berger

Brian Gunn was at Hibernian briefly then he had to retire

Hope Denes Rosa is as good as Guillame Beuzelin who we lost to Coventry on a free in the summer

Thankfully only a couple of you will realise what a night like this means. To see a team crumble in front of you over the cause of 3 seasons is something else. I had already arranged my trip to Derby before the game and I still expect us to be down before then but at the moment that's irrelevance. Again we were pathetic today, but our rivals were more pathetic, and their fans even more so than that! Whatever happens this season, at least I will have a happy memory of it, even if it's just the one as I expect.

The main local paper down here (east anglian daily times) has devoted its front page to telling Jim Magilton to Resign today.

Cant blame them, has been one of the most boring seasons in living memory for an Ipswich Town team, even when we where relegated from the prem years ago there where times we looked quite good (beating Inter Milan for example) but this season there has been no progress and have gone backwards and Magilton has been falling out with players left right and center (Lee and Harding for example) and bringing in average players to replace better players and keeps sending out our promising players on loan who are scoring for then, and sticking with Kevin Lisbie and Jon Stead upfront as he refuses to be wrong.

After a season and half of the fans demanding it, we finally started with Chris Dickson, and so had to folk out a whooping 15k to Dulwich Hamlet! He probably did more in the match than any of our strikers had all season, including the 3 that we've taken on loan! What a shambles! Evil or Very Mad

Just getting a feel for the place... Wink

After last night's penalty win, I'm back to backing Luton to squeak survival. Without the deduction they'd be mid-table, they've crossed the barrier and are in positive points, and they're going to Wembley, so confidnce must be sky high now (well, as sky high was it can be when you're effectively relegated before the season starts and all your best players left...). Whilst they haven't been helped by the lack of a "less than 20 points for the season" whipping boy this year, I seriously think that if they could get 30 points over the rest of the season they'd easily be safe.

I'm glad for their fans that they're going to Wembley but come on!

I'll bet you 100 they will get relegated. If you want I'm willing to up the anty some more.

And I'm not even going to reply to your first comment...

    I have a better bet...

If they stay up, you change your avatar to Daffyd from Little Britain and your title gets set to "Fishy Boy".

and if they go down, I'll get things done around here for a change!

I'll accept, but how about we make things a bit more interesting...

When you lose you'll get an Arsenal Avatar and a gooners title and if hell freezes over and I lose the best I'll have a palarse avatar and an eagles title. Twisted Evil

The thought of a palarse avatar and title is making me feel sick already. Evil or Very Mad

For the record I think you've being running things very well around here, but have gone a bit OTT with the NSFW section.

Thanks for that - the NSFW section is a unfortunate protective measure to make sure we can KEEP doing this well. But that's a discussion for another time and place.

But that may be a bet too far for my liking...at least "fishy boy" is a play on one of the popularly-rumoured meanings of "Addicks"...But you want to make me a GOONER?????

It will take some soul searching to see if I could live with that one...

    - don't know what happened there btw....looks like I edited yours with tmy response instead of quoting it.......

cheers (The closest thing I could find that looked like a wave)

Doncaster were the best footballing side I've seen for a while. If they had a goal scorer they could make the playoffs.
