Scarlett Johansson is the latest name to have signed onto doing Iron Man 2 apparently. Think I've read somewhere she's to play Black Widow.

Weird... I was convinced if they were ever going to do a Three Stooges Movie then Billy West would be Lenny... his impression is uncanny!

I thought Ryan Renolds was an odd choice. I like him but it seems odd to me for some reason.

I think you're the first person I've met who said they didn't like Wolverine. Where would you put it in the movies? Above or below X-Men 3?

Really? Have you looked in the film thread?

I know X-3 was light on plot but it made no attempt to hide that, it was what it was. THe Wolverine movie was built up as being something more the unashamed mutant action but failed to deliver, so on that basis I would put it way below X-3.

FINALLY! Something about The Road, have been dying to see trailers or even more production photos from it. The novel is brilliant, and from what I've heard the film should be great as well. Not the best trailer in the world, but I can't wait to see this.

It looks amazing and its directed by John Hillcoat who did The Propostion, which was awesome.

On the contrary, from what I've read up on Deadpool, Ryan Renolds seems the perfect choice to play Deadpool to me. He seems to play that kinda cocky, mouthy character really well, so hopefully it shouldn't fail. That is provided they learn from the mistakes of the Wolverine film.

I agree that he is right for the personaility and build of pool but will they be willing to disfigure his face?

I think The Road was on my list as far as most anticipated movies...for 2008! I'm glad there's more about it, I can't wait for that to come out. And neither can Viggo. I have faith in the vision of Hillcoat, I agree that The Proposition was fantastic. If it's anywhere near as good as that, it should be great.

Should they really need to, I can't see why not. Renolds has lobbied for years to play Deadpool, so a little thing like that shouldn't put him off at least.

I agree but I was thinking more from the producers side rather then RR not wanting to do it, my lass thinks he's hot, and I think some producers might not want to lose the chick appeal.

Yeah, my lass is the same too, she's forever suggesting we watch Blade Trinity. She says it's purely because "it's a good film". He didn't really have the pretty boy look once he became Weapon XI in "Wolverine", so can't see why the producers wouldn't take it that little step further for the Deadpool movie. I guess we shall see in time.

Waiting for the movie hammer to fall, Thor fans? So are we! Verily!

And we're getting so much closer because now we know who Thor will be facing off against and that's Tom Hiddleston as the trickster Loki!

Marvel Studios announced today Hiddleston has been cast as the villain Loki in the highly anticipated movie "Thor." Kenneth Branagh will direct the film penned by Mark Protosevich and Ashley Miller & Zak Stentz.

Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige will produce the film. The film will be released in the U.S. on May 20, 2011 and distributed by Paramount Pictures.

Marvel Studios expands its film universe with a new type of super hero: "Thor." This epic adventure spans the Marvel Universe; from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

"Thor" reunites Hiddleston with Branagh, with whom he worked on the London production of Chekhov's "Ivanov." The talented actor and Branagh also starred together in the BBC miniseries "Wallander."

Hiddleston's credits also include "Othello," in which he starred with Chiwetel Ejiofor and Ewan McGregor at the Donmar Warehouse, and he played Winston Churchill's son in HBO's "The Gathering Storm."

In 2008, Hiddleston was nominated twice for the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Newcomer – for his role in Othello" and for his role in "Cymbeline." He won the award for the latter.

In addition to "Thor," Marvel Studios is also scheduled to release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including "Iron Man 2" on May 7, 2010, "The First Avenger: Captain America" on July 22, 2011, and "The Avengers" on May 4, 2012.

Sherlock Holmes trailer. Looks pretty good.

I'll be going to see it for Rachel McAdams alone.

I wish Smash was archived because I remember suggesting Jackson would be great for the role years and years ago before he was even in UFC. In summary: I am awesome. Liam Neeson as Hannibal though? Don't know about that one.

I like it. I don't think any of the actors look out of place. I love it when a picture comes together.
