Avengers The Initiative #17
Black Panther #41
New Avengers #45
Nova Vol 4 #17
Secret Invasion Amazing Spider-Man #2
Thunderbolts #124

X-Force #7 is a sore point...bloody forbidden planet! 7 issues and they've failed to get in enough issues twice now. I only got issue #1 because i came in at the right time because they'd missed me off the list...And they wonder why I was narked. Evil or Very Mad

I only got New Avengers and Deadpool. I thought Deadpool was fantastic! I'm intrigued by Disco Stu's plugging of Captain America. I might take a look into this.

I do enjoy reading Garth vent his spleen about supers. Tis mucho funny.

BTW, I'm selling graphic novels and trades out of the bookshop where I work now, and I'm getting some pretty good prices (lower than Amazon a lot of the time), so if you're looking to buy something, send me a PM.

Im mostly reading The Ultimate Series but it was successful in what they were trying to do and that is make me jump to the Marvel universe.

Right now Im reading Ultimate X-men and Ultimate Spiderman.

Im thinking about getting a subscription for Moon Knight (Not sure if he is a monthly though) and I love the idea of the Thunderbolts and have heard great things so Im thinking of getting into that.

On the subject of the secret Invasion I heard a plan is to find out that Ironman was a sleeper agent and his whole purpose was to get Cap killed. I think it would be really interesting anyways.

Also what are people's thoughts on Brand New Day scenario and do you think the secret invasion will fix it?

I just read somewhere that Ultimate X-Men and Ultimate FF are getting dropped after Ultimatum runs its course. Shame, I like them both.

All the skrulls have been reveled 2 issues ago in secret invasion, new cap has nothing to do with the scrulls sans his 1 line with thor and maybe a little ass kickery in 7 - 8.

Still think there may be a late reveal sleeper or two in there - the ones replaced have been pretty lame so far - but it won't be anything to do with Iron man or Cap.

I hope not, just lazy lazy writing which i think marvel has been very good at avoiding with such an event, it would be very easy to make a random big name a skrull and let the books numbers spiker for 6 months or so, it was very good of them to have the skrulls be low key but important players, also Dan Slot on Mighty Avengers thoughts anyone? All i can say is cheers cheers cheers cheers cheers cheers Very Happy

One part of my thinking is that there are 2 issues to go, and we're already at the punch up. That means there has to be one twist/reveal/big moment at the end of next ssue. They've kind of signposted something with Wasp, so it could be that, but it seems too obvious.

The thing that gets me is that they claimed to have a skrull in every superteam, and yet the thunderbolts (who Hank would have extreme knowledge of and a certain level of access to) and the X-Men (who they are fully aware of) seem two very high profile omissions.

I think that was just hype, i think theres a skrull in x factor and thats counted as x men. The Big reveal i think is going to have very little to do with the skrulls me thinks and alot to do with the iluminaugty so i wouldnt think its skrull based in the slightest.

just a thought - did they ever actually confirm when black bolt was replaced...as in was he involved in exiling the hulk?

and x-factor didn't have one - the one posing as longshot just turned up.

I think that whatever the deal is with that, (i gave out on x factor post M/C is it for the x men they are pretty seperate from the rest of the marvel continuity and they have plenty going on at the moment without wolverine being a skrull.

We are still waiting on that one, spiderwoman was just before dissasebled, electra was before enemy of the state, and yellowjacket was around the same time as electra.

I dunno, I'm starting to go off Slott a bit. His She-Hulk was awesome, but Avengers: The Initiative was starting to peter out before Gage came aboard, and while I've not been reading it myself, his story ideas on ASM sound pretty tired.

Read the first 15 or so of Captain America. Wasn't crazy about it until the Bucky story came about, then it was excellent. The House of M issue was excellent also.

I didn't have one single guaranteed purchase, bar 2000AD, so I decided not to go until next week. If they're still in stock, I'll look at Batman, House of M Civil War and Punisher War Journal next week.

Book of the Week Batman RIP was awsome, the Black Glove reviel i saw coming but i still wouldnt be surprised to see a last minuet swerve and for Batman to turn out as the Black Glove.

Also Supergirl was surpisingly good, nightwing was very cool again, Tomatsi is fast becoming one of my favored writers with JLA being pretty cool, the whole Batman being based on the Good The Bad and The Ugly thing was so so awsome i cant wait to read the next issue just to see that character again.

New Punisher trailer. Looks like they're adapting Garth Ennis' series!

Finally got X-force, the Warren explanation kinda makes sense, in that the character now has more effective powers for regular use, something responsible for his sporadic use in the past, but that said, I do think that they missed a chance to see just how much the readers paid attention. The wolverine syndrome would have people doubt that there was a relevance to Angel's multi-book inconsistencies, but they could have started to slip in a clue or two that it wasn't the case, culminating in more and more blatant issues which when looked at would confirm one was a skrull.

Also got Exiles (habit, not necessity any more - Claremont ignoring the Morph/Proteus situation has been a major issue with the new book), Cable (going nowhere fast) and House of M: Civil War (love Magneto's "One Choice" to the magistrates)

These Hellfire Cult "redhead makes a fiery return" ads - anyone think it's anyone other than Madelyne? They seem to hope you think Fiery=Phoenix, but with X-Infernus coming up, "Inferno" akes more sense

Im giving up on the x books sans Astonishing again its all just going nowhere, and there are better things to spend my money on, Amazing spiderman is going after new ways to die as well. Need to make room on the pull list for Nick Fury and the Secret Warriors and Spiderwoman agent of S.W.O.R.D. Oh and the Final part of Brainiac in Action Comics this week, cant wait.

Marvel have leased some property for production work on Iron Man 2, Thor, The First Avenger: Captain America and The Avengers Movie.

I suspect there was more to this story but I deleted the email by mistake.

Deadpool 3 for me this week. I want to read X-Men comics but I really can't get into them anymore, I use to love them.

I'll be getting Deadpool #3 as well, but I'm still not convinced on the series.

Also be picking up Detective Comics, Green Lantern, Final Crisis: Revelations, Secret Invasion: Inhumans, and Invinceable Iron Man. Might get Avengers/Invaders, but it'll have to look AWESOME.
