I finally got round to watching In Bruges, I thought it was a good film tbh. It's probably not one I'll watch again & again, but no doubt I'll stick it on again some time in the near future.

I love McDonagh's stage work, so I was stoked to see this. I have seen it 5 times. I think it is an absolute masterpiece. The screenplay is one of the best I've heard in recent years, and Colin Douchebag Farrell's performance is surprisingly brilliant. I thought this was one of the most underrated films from two years ago.

Troy- I remember reading David Gemmells trilogy on Troy and being really excited when I heard it was being made into a film, last night I realised this was it and my excitment died like Pele's penis Crying or Very sad

I know it would be asking too much to stay true to the books as they were so long and wound in different directiosn but they mixed the story up to make an epic and failed

I had no idea Troy was based on Gemmell's novels! I like Gemmells books but I could never say they were the best written books in the world. But even so the movie is a bit messy, though I do enjoy it if only for Eric Bana and Sean Bean.

I agree they arent the best written books ever but the basic story was a hell of a lot more epic than the actuall Troy movie. It just felt really forced

I'm still waiting for a 'Legend' movie. I mean, its a role Brendan Gleason was born to play!

I Love You, Man

I had heard good things, and it didn't disappoint. Though not as good as some of the other Apatow films, definitely funny with also a nice little plot as well.

The Infor-

I would love to have typed "The Informant" above. Unfortunately, about an hour through the film, the lights in the theatre went on and a few seconds later, the sound went out. A few minutes later, all 16 screens at the cinema were being evacuated because of a power issue. So the first hour or so was a little slow, a few funny spots here and there. And of course, it was just starting to pick up as we had to leave.

Didnt realise that State of Play had been made before Dave Shocked , I thought it was a very good film!

Angels & Demons....could have been so much better, last 15 minutes was stupid though. Still better than the crock of shite called Davinci Code Laughing

It was a BBC tv series with John Sims as Cal, Phillip Glenister as the Cop, the girl from Trainspotting was the female journilist, you should check it out.

I went to see that opening weekend when it originally came out, and the same damn thing that happened to MK happened to me! I never went back and saw it, and used my free ticket to see Austin Powers or something.

if this thread also tackles about the LAST
film that we've seen,,, i would say it was
PLAGUERS... i think this is one of the cheapest
movies ever... the cast are just few... i think
they were just 10-15... and it wasn't that scary...
was it??? hehehe...

Watchable, quite a few tense moments.

The Sure Thing **
Best movie of the '80s according to Total Film magazine. No, not really.

Confidence *
Good ensemble cast, but fucking dull.
