I know there was a book thread here somewhere but i cant find it so heres a new one.......untill someone makes a cunt of me by bringing the old one to my attention

I've just finished reading John Grishams The Appeal, its a really good read about a small time law firms case against a large chemical company, Grisham has got the law thrillers down by now and this one is agood example of him doing it right.

Just started a trilogy of books about the troubles in Northern Ireland called ...

She was saying how it's unfair that if a guy fucks a different girl every week, he's a legend, but if a girl fucks just two guys in a year, she's a slut. So in response I told her that if a key opens lots of locks, then it's a master key. But if a lock is opened by lots of keys, then it's a shitty lock. That shut her up.

All of you across the pond need to see this.

Also looks like some of the cast from the Broadway production will be transferring over to the West End production. I saw this in New York over the summer, and it was a life-changing experience. Without a doubt, the greatest production I've ever seen. I am begging you all to see it if you have a chance, because I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

I don't have a musical bone in my body but was wondering out of interest whether tab music for guitars would work on a Xylophone? There must be someone musical on here who would know the answer to this one. Cheers guys!

We are currently learning the British RP dialect in my dialects class. I must say that you all have a rather difficult dialect to learn. However, I do appreciate how you pronounce words such as "vitamin", "laboratory", and "schedule."

God, it's amazing to think it was 8 years ago that this happened. It's one of those moments where you know exactly what you were doing and where you were when it happened.

I remember being in history class, being told and everyone in the class thinking it was a joke. Spent the next two classes all huddled around a 20-inch tv watching the broadcast live and seeing the two towers crumble. History channel had a special on it with a lot of candid footage and it was terrifying just watching ...
